Chloe’s Carousel “The Family Salon” is located across the street from Rancho Bernardo High School at 12125 Alta Carmel Court.

One may wonder how the name Chloe’s Carousel came about. Chloe is a fictitious character. She was invented for owner Judy’s children as they were growing up. Judy used to draw two eyes, a nose and mouth on her index finger and use this character, which she named Chloe, to teach them. The finger puppet would become an intermediary in confrontations and really helped the young girls learn self-control. As a result of this, a full Chloe hand puppet and books were developed by Judy to talk with, counsel and instruct youngsters. Chloe mixes up Bible stories and gets into the kind of mischief young children may get into themselves. The difference is that Judy has the youngsters help instruct Chloe on good behavior and to get the Bible stories straight. The children love it.

Chloe’s Carousel specialize in children salon services but offers the finest in salon services for everyone in the family.

Owners Judy and Kevin Kreitzer have created a child-friendly environment with television screens at work areas, video PlayStations and places with dress up, games and other equipment. Children will see Chloe’s Carousel as a place to play and explore their surroundings.

Parents will find Chloe’s Carousel refreshing in different ways. Moms who can’t find a babysitter love to bring their kids. They can play while mom gets her haircut. Your whole Family will love it!

Chloe’s Carousel has been a family dream. Using their God-given talents, Kevin and Judy have a heart to reach out to families, offering a salon that the family can experience together. Even Judy’s daughters work with in the family business. Heather the youngest daughter is a full time stylist and Heidi the oldest daughter works the salon’s PR and marketing.
